Description
Here at our Milton Keynes site, we have a new opportunity for an Account Manager to join us. This role focuses on the management of customer 'Key Accounts' and is responsible for the execution of the contract deliverables and supporting profitable growth within the business
You will be the point of contact for the customer where all enquires will be managed efficiently, resolving problems within a short response time. Regular contact will be made also with internal departments establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Key duties:
- The design and implementation of processes required for meeting the contractual deliverables of the Key Accounts whilst ensuring a 'least waste way' & lean methodology approach is being followed
- Supporting the budgeting process of the Key Accounts to meet EBIT/tkVA requirements
- To recognise and help develop areas of profitable growth for Key Accounts
- Ensure contract deliverables of the Key Accounts are met, to include but not limited to service, quality, cost, and aftermarket
- Coordination of activities both internal and external to ensure contract deliverables are met
- Completion of sales quotations
- Supporting the creation of strategic proposals and bids
- Ownership of Key Accounts material demand planning process, focusing on improving customer forecast accuracy, improving material availability and achievement of positive tkVA
- Sales order entry into SAP system where required
- Sales order entry and book management within SAP to ensure contract deliverables are met
- Purchase order requisitions and other documentations/processes to be completed in support of material purchasing
- Customer reporting and communications to include business reviews (F2F, remote), daily/weekly status updates, KPI reporting and any other reporting required by the Key Account
- Support Credit Control on cash collection activities
- Master data creation and integrity within SAP
- To ensure all functions are performed in accordance with tk compliance requirements
