Are you a skilled Site Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the water sector? Our client, a brand:new joint venture between leading engineering contractors, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee projects within the Southern Water framework. This is a unique chance to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of water infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing on:site operations for water infrastructure projects within the Southern Water region, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Leading site teams, including subcontractors and trades, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Overseeing the day:to:day site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
• Implementing and maintaining site safety protocols, fostering a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Managing site documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Resolving on:site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the water or construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate on:site teams.
• In:depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem:solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast:paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working within joint venture environments is a plus.
