Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our Birmingham team and contribute to the nurturing and development of young children in our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children in an early childhood education setting. Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals
- Manage daily routines and ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Drive continuous improvement in the nursery environment
- Demonstrate leadership skills and be a positive role model for children
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications (not health and social care!)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
