About The Role
Our client is seeking a talented Composer to create an instrumental score for a film that explores five distinct female stories. The film, which delves into themes of motherhood, relationships, and personal choices, is set for delivery in November. The ideal candidate will have experience in composing music that enhances the emotional depth and narrative of a film, with a preference for instrumental styles that align with the project's tone.
Responsibilities
- Compose an original instrumental score that reflects the emotional nuances of the film’s five female-driven stories.
- Collaborate closely with the filmmaker to understand the vision and emotional intent of each story.
- Develop musical themes for each of the five narratives, ensuring cohesion across the film’s score.
Requirements
- Proven experience in composing music for film, with a portfolio showcasing previous work, particularly in instrumental compositions.
- Strong ability to translate narrative and emotion into music.
- Proficiency in music production software and tools necessary for composing and recording.
