Every day, our team analyses billions of pieces of behavioural, attitudinal and purchase data from sports fans spanning the globe, using the latest machine-learning and data visualization technology. We do this to give our clients the tools and insight required to grow their businesses.

We have a team nearing 700 Two Circlers working from nine offices across the world (London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Bern, Cologne and Melbourne) who work cross-region to service our expanding international client base.

The Delivery Manager role sits within our rapidly expanding Technology Delivery team. It is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, dynamic and ambitious candidate interested in working for sport's most exciting agency at our UK headquarters, located in the heart of London.

Role Profile:

The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and implementing best practice delivery, working alongside strategists, development teams, clients and senior management, to ensure programme goals are met. They will oversee the successful delivery of the programme from initiation to completion, responsible for managing risks, budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The Delivery Manager should have an in-depth understanding of Agile principles and practices and technical capability for identifying and prioritizing critical areas of delivery.

This role will work closely with client facing teams to ensure understanding of high impact and detailed requirements.

Requirements

Your main duties & responsibilities:

    • Understand objectives of Client Projects and the role our Technology team play in them, ensuring we work together to achieve them successfully
    • Use your experience of high-level planning and your detail-orientated approach to guide and manage your team towards success. Oversee and keep up to date all team duties, ensuring delivery milestones are met and the team is proactive and fully engaged.
    • Maintain and develop positive working relationships with stakeholder and colleagues across our agency, collaborate with them to define and refine requirements, backlogs and priorities, keeping them up to date on delivery at all stages
    • Support and empower multi-disciplined teams ensuring they are motivated, collaborative and working well together
    • Identify and manage risks, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales
    • Facilitate, coordinate and manage ceremonies such as planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives
    • Encourage and foster a culture of continuous improvement, championing an agile mindset across the team and into our wider business
    • Oversee successful delivery into production, identifying obstacles and helping the team to overcome them
    • Lead, influence and coach others, including those more senior, on the implementation and adoption of best practice Agile and DevOps methodologies
    • Work collaboratively with other 3rd parties supporting our clients

The ideal background and skills we are looking for include:

    • Proven experience leading delivery within software development or technical engineering for multiple concurrent clients, customers or stakeholders, and managing a RACI across these
    • Experience in delivery of Digital Product projects such as SSO implementations and Website builds
    • Working with multi-disciplined matrix teams
    • Experience of working with, and leading, clients and multiple suppliers
    • Management of RAID logs
    • Hands-on knowledge configuring and using tools that support agile and collaborative working, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Git
    • Proven experience with vendor onboarding and ways of working initiation
    • Significant knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
    • Good understanding of the holistic lifecycle of Software Development
    • Excellent facilitation skills and change management experience
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills, to a senior audience
