U-Educate are seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join one of our fantastic schools in Southampton, Hampshire.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our the students.
The successful candidate will provide support to students with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one/ group support to students with behavioural challenges.
Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with students and staff
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes.
Work closely with the school's SENCO to support students with additional needs.
Requirements
Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children in a behavioural support role (preferred but not essential)
Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service
Brilliant communication and collaborative skills
Patient and empathic personality and ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
