Behaviour Mentor

U-Educate are seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join one of our fantastic schools in Southampton, Hampshire.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our the students.

The successful candidate will provide support to students with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one/ group support to students with behavioural challenges.
• Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes.
• Work closely with the school's SENCO to support students with additional needs.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children in a behavioural support role (preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service
• Brilliant communication and collaborative skills
• Patient and empathic personality and ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
