Support Worker

I'm currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a client of mine in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. This is a Family Support service that offers independent assessments to children and their families on a placement basis.

Role: Family Support Worker

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire

Hours: Permanent - 40 hours per week - 10 hour shifts

Salary: £25,000 - £31,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Duties;- To monitor and observe and keep appropriate written records.
- Provide 1:1 support / advice to parents & children. - Demonstrate and promote social and interpersonal skills when appropriate.
- Keep appropriate written records. - Meet agreed targets and objectives.
- Attend Family Reviews /Conferences as required - Maintain appropriate relationships with Referrers and other Professionals.
- To provide aftercare where appropriate - To undertake any appropriate training as required

Requirements;- Have the ability to support people with basic parenting and life skills- Can encourage families to deal with day-to-day issues related to raising children- Ability to work with a range of professionals to help work towards a positive outcome.
