Founded in 2016, Vintage Threads are one of Europe’s leading vintage retailers operating across both online and physical stores. Every piece that we sell has been handpicked from around the world and we typically sell a highly curated selection of both designer and sportswear from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. The VT Rework department was established in 2019 and is a massively evolving facet of the business with our daily mission to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry by reworking damaged items to create some truly unique pieces. Our team is full of energetic and ambitious people who are truly passionate about vintage and the story we are trying to tell through our pieces and we would love whoever fills this position to share this passion.

What Is The Role?

You will be joining the engine room at Vintage Threads. Where you will be focusing on products, customers and processes. Your job is to ensure the shops are stocked, customers are dealt with in the best possible manner and the clothes are clean, repaired if needed and moved through the business as quickly as possible.

Key tasks are :

  • Shooting items for our weekly online drop
  • Shooting content throughout the week of the best items that have arrived in HQ
  • Managing clothes that need washing and repairing.
  • Processing new stock that comes into the warehouse and uploading it into the database.
  • Helping unpack deliveries and making sure the stock is dealt with efficiently
  • Delivering world class customer service both in store and online.
  • Assisting the studio assistants to ensure their tasks are being done effectively.

The essential skills you need for the role :

- Written and spoken English language
- Experience and knowledge for spreadsheets
- Passion for vintage
- Shopify experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
- Hard working and a positive attitude. We have a very fast paced working environment, it's essential you are someone who is proactive and self motivated.

  • A full UK driving license, a car will be provided to use during work hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£25,500.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
