Copy Writer

Salary: Up to £37,800 dependent on skills and experience

5 month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham)

Your role:



In this role you will develop compelling content to engage and nurture our audience. You will also communicate the member benefits through articles, guides advertorials, e-marketing copy, digital & web copy, ensuring consisting use of branding and in line with brand narrative and tone of voice.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Write copy
  • Continuously writing and editing multiple content deliverables simultaneously, including but not restricted to: Collateral, Emails, Newsletters, Advertorials, Infographics, case Studies, Blogs, Social Media Posts and Direct Mail
  • Collaborating with marketers, designers, and internal subject matter experts, to produce relevant content that meets the stated goals for the communication piece or campaign.
  • Continuously looking for new ways to use compelling content to engage with and nurture our audience whilst delivering on the proof points of our mutuality status
  • Act as brand guardian to ensure consistent use of branding and that all content is supportive of the brand narrative and tone of voice


We’re looking for:

  • Relevant work experience in copywriting
  • Experience in B2B/B2C marketing for Financial Services is preferred (or working in a regulated environment)
  • Comfortable to be able to work at pace and to hit the ground running.
