Willows Birds of Prey has a 30-year history and is home to around 80 birds of prey, Meerkats, Raccoons Dogs, Livestock and so much more, we are constantly improving and expanding.
We are a dedicated team of hardworking and passionate people who all care about what we do, clock watchers and the uncommitted need not apply.
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time position working 40 hours over 5 days a week, flexible over 7, we work 8:30am to 4:30pm though this may vary through the winter from time to time.
Working weekends and school holidays is a requirement.
We are looking for someone with experience of training and management of birds of prey within a zoo environment, conducting flying displays and experiences to a very high standard, a thorough understanding and appreciation of welfare and a desire to constantly learn and improve is essential.
You should be comfortable working alone as well as part of a team and be capable of interacting and communicating with the public.
Experience with mammals and raptors is advantageous but not essential.
A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Annual salary £23,920k depending on experience.
