We are looking for a Control Room Officer to join one of our fantastic teams based at one of our clients based in London. You will be required to provide a high calibre of security and customer focused service within the client head office. Operating within a small team and based out of a technologically advanced control room you will need to monitor and operate a variety of integrated PC based security & CCTV systems making good computer skills an essential part of this role accurately and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, as they are required to provide front of house reception support, meet & greet visitors and interact with colleagues and staff at all levels both verbally and in writing. You must possess the ability to accurately interpret and follow a wide of range of prescribed processes and procedures relating to the security of the facility. This involves production of accurate and detailed reports observing good document management.

A typical day in the life as a Control Room Officer:

• To complete and maintain all paper based, electronic reports, and site documentation in a timely manner and to a high standard, highlighting any discrepancies to the site manager.
• Alarm and CCTV monitoring and response. To ensure that the alarm monitoring process using both the C Cure and Genetic security systems are always monitored.
• To initiate and produce detailed reports as and when necessary. Informing the shift supervisor (SOC Manager) and Site Security Manager of any incidents affecting the integrity and operation of the site.
• Ensure all equipment and systems issued to, operated, or monitored are checked for full functionality throughout the course of your duty, escalating any faults identified to the appropriate person(s) in line with directives and operational needs
