Senior Marketing Manager - Event and Cross Channel Campaign (Contract)

Our global client is looking for a freelance contract Senior Marketing Manager to be an integral member of their Corporate Marketing team in the U.K., responsible for the successful planning, orchestration and delivery of complex, integrated marketing campaigns. This engagement will run for one (1) year as a fulltime freelance contract role (40 hrs per week), but will potentially convert to a fulltime FTE position if both parties have had a successful freelance engagement together.

The chosen resource will spearhead the promotion, planning and execution of high-profile Corporate Marketing programs, including our flagship conference, so experience with strategic event planning is also a crucial component of this position. Interacting with Corporate Marketing leaders, cross-functional subject matter experts, and divisional marketing teams, your directive is to roll out campaigns that resonate, engage and convert.

This role requires you are a seasoned marketing professional, inquisitive, and highly organized. You won't require much handholding and you are able to jump right in. Someone with experience in Product Marketing would be a great fit as they will be responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring smooth execution of large campaigns (similar to a product launch).

The start date for this position is ASAP and will run for one year as a freelance contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute overarching promotional strategies for Corporate Marketing initiatives.
• Articulate campaign objectives that align with marketing and business goals
• Lead marketing campaign development from concept to execution, including defining target audience, messaging, and deliverables
• Create and manage detailed project plans for events and campaigns, tracking projects milestones and deliverables
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in content, product, communications, digital, events, and creative to develop robust campaign plans
• Utilise a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels, such as digital advertising, social media, events, and content marketing to reach and engage target audiences effectively
• Effectively communicate with key stakeholders and build strong partnerships.
• Manage tasks and timelines through a project management system
• Track, analyse and report on campaign performance and ROI, providing insightful recommendations for optimisation and continuous improvement of campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in an enterprise B2B technology company preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in similar roles focused on integrated marketing strategy and execution
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with demand generation, lead generation and brand awareness.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
