YMCA Humber is a charity that specialises in supported accommodation for over 100 young people in communities around North East Lincolnshire. We provide education and training, mental health support and a wide range of youth and community activities which supports young people across the Humber Region.

Our Coffee Shop is based at the Clee Fields Sports Facility on Ladysmith Road in Grimsby and will be the ‘heart’ of our new sports venture, providing visitors, local teams and members with a range of café snacks and beverages.

With exceptional customer service skills, you will act as the ‘face’ of the Coffee Shop, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. You will possess a can-do attitude, hold relevant experience in the hospitality sector and most importantly, have the ability to adapt this customer focused environment providing a positive experience for each and every one of our visitors at Clee Fields.

Working to the highest level of food standards you will have sound knowledge of core Catering requirements and hold a current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Under the guidance of the Head of Operations, you will have the adaptability and flexibility to work to a pattern of hours to meet the needs of service delivery, and the willingness to undertake additional mandatory training including COSHH, Allergen and Intolerance and Basic Hygiene as standard.

We have two posts available to cover Coffee Shop rota including opening times of:

• Monday to Friday 4.00pm – 8.00pm
• Saturday and Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm.

Full rota and core hours will be discussed in more detail during the interview stages, however the requirement to work flexibility is essential to this front facing role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 22.5 per week
