Football Coach

Job Description

We are looking for a Football Coach who possess the following qualities and experience:

Coaching Experience:

• Proven track record of coaching children across various age levels, ideally between 2-10 years old.
• Experience in developing training programs for children.

Football Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of football tactics, techniques, and rules.
• Ability to adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels.
• Passion for playing or following football.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Management Skills:

• Experience in managing groups of children, including handling challenging behaviours.
• Experience working with children who have special educational needs.
• Organisational skills for planning sessions and coordinating with parents and other coaches.

Personal Attributes:

• Passion for coaching and football.
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring children, predominantly aged 2-6 years.
• Commitment to fostering a love for football in children.
• Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
• Patience in dealing with varying abilities and temperaments.
• Ability to create a fun and positive learning environment.
• High energy levels to keep children engaged and motivated.

Role Model:

• Exhibiting sportsmanship, fairness, and respect.
• Being a positive influence both on and off the field.

Experience:

• Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers license (preferred)
• DBS (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Schedule:

• Weekends only

Experience:

• Sports coaching: 1 year (required)
