We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to work at a SEND school. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to young people who require help with daily tasks and activities within a classroom setting and throughout their school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Please note that this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may also be required.
