ERP System Administration Senior Manager manages the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Troubleshoots and resolves any ERP related hardware, software, user access, or other system issues. Being an ERP System Administration Senior Manager integrates ERP systems and applications with software solutions to streamline business processes and data flow. Plans and implements new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches according to business needs. Additionally, ERP System Administration Senior Manager develops departmental processes, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices in the administration and processing of ERP data. Monitors and reviews support requests to ensure timely response to, and resolution of, issues or bugs and coordinates resources and workflow for fixes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP System Administration Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
