ESTIMATOR

NuFrame is looking for a detail oriented and diligent Estimator to add to our team. Applicant must be well versed in structural wood framing plans, and be able to prepare accurate lumber and hardware estimates. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. A strong background and thorough knowledge of reading structural plans is a must. You will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, evaluating, assessing, tracking, and following up on estimate and bids for Multifamily Wood Framing projects. You will follow the process all the way through by collaborating with our Construction Manager to transition from estimate to project award. Qualifications and Skills may include:

• Proficient with plan reading and wood framing assemblies
• Deadline and detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks across multiple projects
• Proficient with Office 365, specifically Excel and MS Teams, PDF editing as well as SmartSheets
• Other software must haves may include PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, ProCore, PlanSwift, or comparable programs.

Responsibilities and Duties may include:

• Quantity survey utilizing take-off software and consultant documents
• Thorough review of bid documents to ensure a complete scope for competitive submission
• Ensure deadlines are met to submit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
