Responsibilities:
- Support daily administration of Group Benefit & Retirement plans
- Input carrier data into various Quarterly (Non-ASO) and Annual Renewal client reports
- Group and Retirement Marketing Specs completion
- Prep employee facing presentations and benefit plan summaries
- Maintain all client files and correspondence to comply with O&A Standards
- Working closely with Senior Analysts to assist onboarding of new clients through assistance in benchmarking client data, completing plan recommendation report
- Develop knowledge of all carrier administration portals
- Assist on Retirement Fund Alternate report inputting
- Regular update of internal CRM and report tracking systems
- Keep up to date with industry trends and activities by participating in webinars, seminars, etc.
- Assist on special projects, as assigned
Requirements:
The Benefits Analyst should possess the following:
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a mathematical aptitude.
- Exceptional judgment, logic, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Three or more years’ experience in customer service
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while effectively managing multiple tasks
- Strong Working knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Must clear a Background Check
Assets:
- Working knowledge of Group Benefits (some knowledge of retirement benefits)
- 1-2 years of financial services industry experience (preferably at brokerage level)
- Expert skills in Microsoft Excel (Macros)
- CEBS or working towards
- LLQP or working towards
- Bilingual (French and English)
