The Role:
The Social Media Specialist will join a team of marketing professionals to grow and engage our audience and client base. The perfect candidate will step in and take ownership of organic social media efforts from start to finish.
We’re looking for a driven Social Media Specialist with their ear to the ground in social media trends, technologies and techniques, innovating new opportunities to meet our goals. You will collaborate with product and marketing teams, creative designers and influencers to promote small business Accounting, Tax, Bookkeeping and Payroll best practices to customers through social media channels.
The goal is to achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, generate website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.
This role must be able to create messaging with personality that will hit home with realtors, delivery drivers, influencers, artists, content creators, bakers, mechanics — you get the idea — and consistently represent our brand as authoritative yet approachable to each of its unique and respective audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate and publish innovative, engaging, relatable content that grabs attention and encourages action
- Monitor opportunities for online advocacy and reputation-building
- Define digital strategy and measurement (baseline and advanced KPIs) across the digital marketing mix and set goals for success against all of those measures
- Follow the data: use social listening and benchmarking apps to further inform/drive social media content needs
- Work closely with paid social ,SEO, and content creation teams to generate optimized, engaging and relevant campaigns that address our target audiences’ core motivations and help to achieve our strategic goals
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Qualifications:
- Goal-oriented, with a strong desire to innovate and grow
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
- Multilingual - you speak TikTok and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Independent, aggressive self-starter who is even better at collaborating
- Experience with Social Media Publishing and Analytics tools
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to juggle numerous projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to track, interpret and report on engagement KPI’s and metrics in an understandable way
- 2-3 Years experience in social media marketing
