ABOUT US1-800Accountant is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our dynamic and successful sales team.

Last tax season, our sales force achieved a CSTAT score of 4.7 out of 5.0 and we’re looking to rank even higher this year!This is an in-office position.
Our office is located at 6565 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33771.
ABOUT YOUYou’ll spend your day calling entrepreneurs and small business owners and educating them on the world of small business taxes, taking the burden of accounting off them, and ultimately helping them get back to what they do best : running their business and making money.
Providing outstanding customer service is a critical part of this role and our proven script includes ample opportunity for you to build rapport, learn about their needs, and provide tailored recommendations.
Our script will guide you through all aspects of learning about the business and its owner, as well as assisting you in providing the necessary information for their business to succeed.
You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets by proactively reaching out to potential customers and following up on leads.
TRAININGWe provide a comprehensive training program that teaches you everything you’ll need to know when it comes to small business taxes.
No certifications are required, but you will become a subject matter expert and a trusted advisor to those you speak with.
QUALIFICATIONS2 years experience in sales, preferably over the phone
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus
COMPENSATIONOur paid training offers a supportive new hire plan that will transition into a lucrative long term commission plan after 120 days.
Uncapped commission where successful sales closers are earning $100,000 - $200,000 per year and our top 20% are earning over $200,000 annually.
