Department/Unit: Cardio-Respiratory Services Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: Min. $26.37/hr - Max $42.19/hr The Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RT-II) is an individual that is licensed by the NYS Department of Education to perform respiratory therapy procedures, cardio-respiratory diagnostics, and patient assessment under the direction of a licensed physician. The RT-II will be regarded as a mentor and a resource by the less experienced staff by virtue of employment at AMC and clinical expertise. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily as outlined in the annual competency assessment as well as possess an active NYS License to practice Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist. Active Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certificates are required. Active AARC membership is required as well.
