The Marketing Program Manager supports key projects that span across revenue marketing, product marketing, customer and content marketing, and analyst relations. Examples include improving our customer review rankings, managing marketing operational reviews, supporting the creative services workflow, and managing competitive programs.
This individual is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing projects from beginning to end. S(he) will collect objectives, deadlines, and budgets requirements. S(he) will also assign individuals or entire teams to tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project. In some instances, the marketing project manager may responsible for overall budget management and coordination. S(he) plays a central role in risk analysis and should be able to identify potential roadblocks or bottlenecks related to resources, timelines, and budgets, and report these potential issues to executive leaders, as necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver cross-departmental project management and support for both short term and long-term initiatives
- Help develop standardized and scalable processes, including use of tools
- Provide standardized reporting on key projects as well as risk and issue identification and mitigation
- Actively partner with related groups across product marketing, growth marketing, corporate communications, customer marketing, events marketing, and creatives services to facilitate and manage cross-team efforts to turn insights into practice
- Provide on-location events logistical support as needed
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
- Expert organizational skills
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Outstanding communication and influence skills
- Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology; PMP certification is preferred
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with process management and collaboration tools such as Workfront, Asana, Trello, Slack, Basecamp, Microsoft Teams, and so forth
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Two to four years of marketing project management experience, ideally within B2B, high-tech organizations
