The Role and the Team The Deals Desk Associate will be a true value-add partner and business liaison who will support the Renewal Sales team by quoting customer’s renewals with accuracy and completeness. You will work with sales providing various pricing techniques and strategies to ensure competitive and profitable margins. You will also need to have thorough knowledge of the booking process and the necessary requirements to facilitate a smooth transaction close. Critical thinking and self-motivation will be key to your success in this role. Your day-to-day Be a trusted contact to the Renewal Sales team for all topics relating to renewal quoting and pricing requirements. Create renewal quotes utilizing the CPQ tool as well as manual setup and calculations in excel. Apply general pricing principles and target margins to effectively guide Sales on pricing. Leverage CPQ and SFDC Lightning. Responsible for in-depth review and understanding customer’s account information including SFDC and shared folders. Clearly communicate with Sales teams on general pricing guidance and overall transaction qualification. Identify when cross-functional teams need to be engaged to ensure quoting requirements are met and escalate with Supervisor to effectively communicate via email, phone, or online meetings Ensure required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented. Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand the details around each transaction. Ensure sales requests are processed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner with strong focus during period-end deadlines. Manage and track renewal quotes to ensure team’s standard SLAs are met. Provide feedback and observations of where process improvements could be made. What you bring to the team Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience working in a Deal Desk, sales operations, functional sales support or order management teams. Experience with software/SaaS business is an advantage. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage complex data sets for justification. General understanding of quote- to-cash operations. Intermediate/advanced Salesforce.com and MS Excel skills are highly recommended - able to create basic formulas in Excel is a plus Ability to work independently in fast paced environment Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational and problem-solving skills #LI-AN2 If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
