Job Description Summary Directs all warehousing activities at the American Falls, Idaho location and provides general direction for the managers/supervisors at the location. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes while developing relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, various industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. Minimum of 10 years related experience preferred. Job Description Develop, implement, and manage cost effective warehousing services for the organization and its customers. Supporting and developing cross-functional teams focused on delivering results that benefit supply chain efficiency, cost and service to the customer. Support key transportation and warehouse initiatives by driving plant alignment, data analysis, and project delivery tasks. Leading continuous improvement efforts and specific projects that optimize supply chain processes. Position Responsibilities · Manage distribution services at American Falls Campus including P/L at the site. · Serve as the liaison between manufacturing operations, plant warehouses and the corporate T&W functions to align on strategies, analyze network metrics and implement cost control measures and best practices · Perform audits to ensure adherence to operating procedures to ensure quality and to drive customer service. · Perform budget adherence reviews. Identify and establish action plans to resolve gaps in performance. · Partner with Transportation Planning and Procurement to develop and execute key Transportation strategies. · Partner with Transportation planning to measure and monitor and carrier performance to drive service and cost improvements through root cause improvement activities. · Partner with cross-functional Supply Chain teams: Customer Service, S&OP and Enterprise Procurement to ensure alignment and support changes to business requirements. Basic & Preferred Qualifications Position Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree in related area, logistics or supply chain preferred. · Minimum 10 years previous warehousing/transportation experience, including warehouse site management. · Cold storage facility experience preferred. · Third party logistics experience preferred. · Must possess experience and influencing skills necessary to manage cross-functional and third-party reporting relationships and processes. · Proficient MS Office; with strength in Excel · SAP, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management Systems knowledge a plus · Knowledge of transportation modes, transportation metrics and transportation rate structures a plus · Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. · Solid knowledge of distribution operations and overall supply chain management. · Ability to lead effectively and manage conflicts in a cross functional, matrix environment. · Ability to interact with multiple levels of an organization.
