About the Role The Federal Reserve Bank is currently seeking candidates to fill an Audio Visual Support Specialist position. In this position you will support and maintain audio visual technologies throughout the Tenth District for internal customers and external guests. This opportunity will allow you to be chiefly engaged in the support of production equipment and systems from concept to completion. AV equipment set-up and installation will be your primary focus, but this opportunity will allow to participate in some aspects of production. This position is only open to individuals that live in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. We cannot accommodate remote workers for this position. This position does provide some work from home flexibility for our Oklahoma City based associates. Important Activities: Set up audio-visual equipment, including microphones, projection equipment, digital displays, and other technical industry equipment. Equalize and maintain audio-visual equipment during the course of events by operating equipment and making adjustments (e.g. sound) as needed to ensure appropriate quality. Manage and support installed audio-visual and video conference equipment by changing settings, positioning, inventory acquisition and/or replacement, etc. Provide basic streaming and production capability for events. Perform novice technical programming of industry equipment to integrate into new and existing equipment and technical systems, including modifying existing vendor code. Build and install audio-visual and video conference equipment. Identify potential new equipment and considering implications and applications within the organization. Participate in audio-visual projects and upgrades by managing customer/vendor relationship. Handle technical issues requiring intermediate level understanding of existing and industry leading equipment. Qualifications: This position typically requires at least 2 years of relevant previous experience. Relevant information technology coursework from a technical/vocational school, an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. Audio-visual video conferencing certification, such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential or equivalent. Multiple Unified Communications platforms operational knowledge (Cisco UCM, Webex, MS Teams, Zoom). Digital platform streaming knowledge. Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief. Preferred Qualifications: 4 or more years of relevant previous experience. Knowledge of networking (experience & relationships) and with supporting industries, suppliers, and standards groups. General knowledge of integrated AV systems and enterprise support for communications platforms.
