Job Title: Sr Applications Engineer Job Description: Are you a specialist in engineering and looking for an excellent opportunity? We are seeking a Sr CMP Applications Engineer to join our team. This position reports to the Customer Technology Engineering Manager. The CMP Applications Engineer will develop strategic relationships and have a focused interaction with multiple Entegris customers. This role is responsible for collaborating with the customer’s technical team to identify and interpret their technical/business needs, introduce Entegris new and continuous improvement technology, and work multi-functionally with other scientists and engineers to develop technical solutions. Through these interactions they will be responsible for strengthening a trusted partnership with the customers to enable us win new business opportunities. The key responsibilities: Align with the Sales team to build strong partnerships with the customer Primary interface between Customer’s technology team, Entegris R&D and CMP Solutions team Identify needs and new business opportunities Technical interface for the development and adoption of Entegris products Introduce Entegris new and continuous improvement technology and products to the customer Address our customer’s technical questions and concerns diligently and expertly Work closely with scientists, and engineers to stay current on Entegris new products Participate in design and execution of experiment to support customer evaluations and qualifications of Entegris products Host technical seminars with our customers Provide mentoring to CMP application engineers Qualifications/Requirements: Technical: A degree in engineering, chemistry or related field required Experience in process variation and control Deep understanding of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) polishing process Ability to develop in-depth understanding of Entegris technology and products Critical thinking skills to “distill” key messages both from Voice of Customer (VOC) and Entegris technical data set Ability to summarize scattered technical data into a compelling package Ability to use simple and customer understandable “language” to explain Entegris product performance Ability to assess the business environment and consequently elaborate a technical strategy for the specific account Behavioral: Strong passion, ownership, and determination Empathetic, flexible, and tolerant, with the ability to excel under an ambiguous, constantly evolving climate Ability to maintain dedication to the tasks at hand, with efficient planning, prioritizing and goal setting skills Entegris Offers: Compensation – Competitive Salary plus performance-based bonus opportunity Global Organization and Global exposure 401k plan – help you plan for your future with an impressive employer match Benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision and Insurance beginning on day 1 Generous Paid Time Off & Parental Leave Program Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Educational Assistance Program and Training And more...
