ROLE SUMMARY: The Packaging Materials Subject Matter Expert will utilize their expertise to improve current packaging designs, ensure packaging material quality monitoring, and lead supplier partnerships meetings in order to continue to drive improvement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Update and Maintain Packaging Material Specifications, processing requirements, and packaging material quality monitoring. Maintain/create policies, procedures and reaction plans Evaluate and approve of new & alternate suppliers for packaging materials Manage the material DMR process and site quality incidents Lead supplier partnership meetings to drive improvement Package design improvements based on trends Manage new supplier/material/brewery CQVs and qualifications Conduct supplier audits of facilities Support Procurement & MRP Initiatives JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Science or Engineering field preferred Excellent interpersonal and technical problem-solving skills Highly focused on results and providing a structured system Knowledge of the packaging process, materials, and packaging equipment Self-starter able to effectively manage and influence multiple levels of the organization Results oriented and continuous improvement driven WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
