What You Will Achieve Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer with the operations required for the assembly and packaging of finished goods. You will manage product finishing scheduling, setting up, operating, maintaining, and adjusting processes or packaging equipment. As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your receptiveness to new ideas will enhance the team’s ability to achieve goals and targets. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks and identify process issues or problems that involve direct application of your skills and knowledge. You will be relied upon to maximize quality and efficiency, completing batch records and associated documentation, and working in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment. How You Will Achieve It Manage own time, professional development and be accountable for own results. Perform equipment change parts room functions. Ensure appropriate cleans are performed, which will include mopping floors, cleaning walls, sanitizing tools and equipment and operating various cleaning equipment. Work with a sense of urgency to ensure cleaning process does not impact manufacturing areas. Maintain training, train and mentor new colleagues and relevant teams. Consistently display behaviors in accordance with Pfizer Core Competencies. Set-up and operate printers, scales, tools and robotic equipment for the purpose of packaging finished product. Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Perform all necessary documentation including required labels, batch records, cleaning forms, assembly logs, work orders, etc. Provide feedback to leadership regarding issues and errors with Good Manufacturing Practices documentation and comply with cGMP. Qualifications Must-Have High School Diploma or GED Manufacturing experience Math and reading skills required for Standard Operating Procedure, Good Manufacturing Practices {cGMP} and Batch Record comprehension Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Excellent communication skills Evidence of strong team interaction and leadership skills Knowledge of Microsoft Applications Nice-to-Have Knowledge and understanding of GMP's and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Considerable standing. Walking, bending reaching and lifting up to 42 pounds. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required. This position requires the manual packaging of products. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Positions can be staffed across all three shifts based on business needs. Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs.
