As the Marketing Manager at 16 on Center, you will be a pivotal force in shaping the marketing landscape for our diverse portfolio of food and beverage brands. Your role will involve leading and mentoring our team of Marketing Specialists, guiding them in creating exceptional marketing campaigns, art directing photo shoots, strategizing digital and out-of-home ads, and driving marketing for private events. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, set and measure goals, and ensure the highest quality in marketing materials and campaigns
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Direct and coach Marketing Specialists on content creation, copy, ad performance, and social media strategy for the following accounts: Moneygun, Sunnygun, Good Ambler, Pizza Friendly Pizza, Revival Food Hall, Familiar Bakery, Snorkelbox, From Here On, Olly Olly, Avant/Apres, and Pizza Friendly Pizza NYC.
- Art Direct photo shoots with professional photographers, pulling inspiration, lighting notes, compositions, and content focuses.
- Strategize and activate digital and out of home ads and campaigns in support of the properties assigned should budget allow-spanning wheatpasting, subway ads, Google Ads, paid search, Time Out NYC ads, etc.
- Drive marketing for private events. Build short (social media postings)- and long-term grassroots marketing plans (SEO optimization of PE&C pages) in partnership with our private events and operations teams to drive traffic and sales. Consisting of Private Events & Catering Webpages, Social Media postings on brand pages, and Eblast inclusion for private event pushes to the public.
- Manage the team of Marketing Specialists for the Food & Beverage and Food Hall properties, consisting of Revival Food Hall, Familiar Bakery, From Here On, SnorkelBox, Olly Olly, Avant/Apres, Pizza Friendly Pizza Chicago, MONEYGUN, Sunnygun, and Good Ambler.
- Onboard and train the Marketing Specialists in the areas of Brand, Social Media Marketing, Content Creation, Brand Pillars, Digital Advertising, Website Content Updates, Experiential Events, Press Strategy, Copywriting, Out of Home Marketing, Project Management, Communications, Data Collection, Eblast Curation, and more.
- Create and update onboarding plan and training materials
- Manage the project of Integrated Marketing Plans, mapping out the year’s marketing goals, ideas for content creation, and experiential event ideas per season- coaching each marketing specialist on event ideas, brand awareness, social media goals and idea curation.
- Set goals for each property for database growth, social media growth, website traffic growth, and email open rates
- Train the team on content creation, teaching Marketing Specialists how to utilize lighting and editing to improve content
- Create Marketing plans including budgets, setting goals for Marketing Specialist Team to execute
- Manage and assist in the drafting of event proposals
- Coach and provide feedback on event recaps Check in with Marketing Specialists, weekly, some daily, to ensure the team is up to speed on their to-dos, supported in materials they need, and to strategize on marketing initiatives.
- Identify training and coaching opportunities for team members, enhancing skill sets while keeping the team engaged. Act as mentor and provide support, coaching team members through challenges
- Work with the graphic design team with supervision from the Creative Director to ensure efficiencies and align on goals
Requirements:
- 3 years of field marketing experience, ideally in a restaurant/hospitality setting
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Previous experience in managing and mentoring a team is important
- Desire and capability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and deadline-driven environment
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- Positive, upbeat attitude with a desire to meet and exceed goals
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
