Proctor Loan Protector Position Description ____________________________________________________________ Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Team Resources Reports to: VP Team Resources Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, screen, attract, recruit and onboard teammates for Proctor Loan Protector offices. Assist in ensuring that consistent, efficient workflows are in place, yielding optimal productivity and performance to meet office objectives. Essential Duties and Functions include working collaboratively with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist performing the following: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for: Proactively partners with hiring team leaders to determine staffing needs and ensure understanding of the requirements and expectations for those needs. Reviewing applicants in our ATS system to determine those that are qualified and should move forward in the process. Confirm scheduled interviews: both phone screens with Talent Acquisition Professional, and in person interviews with the office hiring manager. Screens resumes, administers the appropriate assessments and reference/background checks, suggests recommendations for hire (or not hire), and assists in the delivery of employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings. Manages resumes and applications according to PLP/Brown & Brown retention policy. Maintain accurate record-keeping details in compliance with federal and state requirements (EEO documentation, AA, etc.) Maintain information in the applicant tracking systems to ensure compliance and accuracy of metrics. Assist the TR team in onboarding new teammates. Coordinate with the TR, Training, and Operations departments to ensure new hires are started efficiently. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Maintains confidentiality and a positive, can-do work ethic. Knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Outlook. Trustworthy, customer focused, takes Initiative. Preferred/Required Qualifications: High School diploma. Ability to utilize sourcing techniques including but not limited to conducting web and social media searches. Previous experience in using applicant tracking systems, preferred. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and competing deadlines, required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, required. Highly motivated, disciplined, fast learner with the ability to multitask, required. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; bend and perform manual tasks. Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse, on a constant basis 7-8 hours per day. The employee will be required to communicate verbally and by phone. Hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication. Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day. Visual acuity is required including color, depth perception, and field of vision. Vision sufficient for constant use of computer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee may occasionally drive to attend recruiting events or meetings. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
