About SketchUp and LayOut SketchUp is one of the most popular 3D modeling and design tools in the world. Today, millions of architects, engineers, contractors, woodworkers, artists, and other creatives use our software to design transit centers, treehouses, and everything in between. LayOut is the sibling application that renders, annotates, and publishes 3D SketchUp models into compelling, communicative, and constructible 2D deliverables. Execute within our team’s agile development framework. Outreach: Communicate our product roadmap across internal teams. Occasionally, represent SketchUp at customer events and tradeshows. Develop customer intimacy through research, events, and really getting to know and listen to customers. Minimum Qualifications: Passion for user experience, design, and problem-solving. Skill to visualize and illustrate: ideas, workflows, and detailed implementations. We expect you to be very good at ‘showing’ your thinking. Ability to break large initiatives into smaller implementation tasks. Project management and leadership expertise for aligning and executing with cross-functional teams. Research design and implementation for generating market intelligence, user persona profiles, and user experience insights. Clear and concise communication. It would be nice, but not crucial, for you to have: Preferred Qualifications: Background in technical product management, working at high levels of detail with software engineers Proficiency in SketchUp Pro, LayOut, and AutoCAD Proficiency in any of the following: Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Miro, Procreate, Morpholio Trace, Bluebeam Proficiency in 3D rendering or visualization applications such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Twin Motion, Adobe Substance Working experience developing architectural drawings and construction documents Experience in agile product ownership An undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture, design, computer science or other relevant fields. - Pay Equity - Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
