A local manufacturing company is looking for a qualified HR III assistant for their company:

Under guidance and direction of HR lead this candidate will perform a variety of administrative task and reporting functions within the HR department. This candidate will promote positive employee relations by ensuring consistent practices.

Major Accountability-

  • Administers time and attendance in ADP
  • Supports production with accurate reporting in production hours and absenteeism as well as contingent worker administration.
  • Customer service to employees
  • Administrative support.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to employees.

Key task and responsibilities:

  • Follows procedures and controls in the day to day time and attendance maintenance, processing and documentation.
  • Complies data from records and generates reports for productivity, absenteeism and vacation scheduling.
  • Provides timely customer service to employees in answering questions pertaining to issues such as time and attendance, benefits, and policies.
  • Administers contingent workers needs including production orders, safety training, balances invoices, and fusion entries.
  • Administers badge security system for the facility and warehouse (creation, activation, and deactivation)
  • Administrative support: HR file maintenance, mail distribution, employee engagement needs and company events.
  • SMS element champion- Employee involvement,

Skills and requirements:

  • 1-3 Years of HR experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products.
  • Great written and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Associate degree- In lieu of a degree you MUST have 3 years of experience in this field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Human resources: 3 years (Preferred)
