In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the brand and products in your local big box retailer(s). You will maintain brand standards, demonstrate products to customers and create memorable brand experiences. You will be responsible for building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees. Job Description: Duties include creating consumer awareness, brand awareness, and product mind share around high quality photography equipment for professionals and enthusiasts at retail stores through providing sales, product, brand, and advocacy partnerships Ability to influence others sharing enthusiasm for the brand and the product line Use client owned equipment to demonstrate and provide examples of quality images and settings Use personal transportation to travel within assigned market visiting retailers within the cadence Effectively collect and communicate RSA and customer feedback within surveys Ability to visually assess on-site needs i.e., product and promotional/marketing material, inventory levels Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges within the stores, such as product display issues Train 1:1 or in groups to ensure customers and RSA’s are knowledgeable on cameras and equipment and how to determine and match the correct device to a customer’s needs Participate in training sessions and conference calls as required. Must have weekend availability. This may include participation in after-business hours events, or industry tradeshows. Must use a web enabled device (smartphone or tablet) with iOS or Android with an active data plan. Must be comfortable conducting business impact conversations with retail management and market leadership on the business value proposition of client products. Must be eligible to work in the US and pass a Background and Motor Vehicle Check Performance Measurements: Visited assigned locations within assigned market per guidelines from client Achieve assigned active training goals Hitting assigned Sales Goals by location, RSA product and brand knowledge engagements, trainings, and Mystery Shop scoring Qualifications: 1-2 years of customer facing retail sales experience preferred; Photography experience is a plus 2 years of Market multi-location sales experience Mobile savvy and computer proficient, and experience with wireless mobile handsets for reporting Ready and able to engage customers, actively listen to their needs, and make recommendations based on those needs Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written. Must have the willingness and ability to build relationships at the retail store level along with being comfortable conducting group trainings, demonstrations, or presentations to those groups Friendly demeanor, easy to approach, enthusiastic, energetic, and goal oriented. Attend events, trainings, trade shows, and present and demonstrate Key Selling Features Partner with Client and Peers to generate feedback and initiatives for sales strategies Quick learner, self-motivated, show initiative and work with limited oversite Reliable transportation for Market Visits Positive, flexible and focused, with an emphasis on impactful engagements Use tools provided, along with creativity to determine how to increase revenue/unit sales within retailers, identifying location support based on need. Physical Job Requirements: Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items. Requires the ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary to assist customers.
