Amica is looking for an experienced market researcher to join our Marketing and Communications team. The incumbent is responsible for designing, conducting, and interpreting market research studies to drive insights-based decision making. This individual is expected to have several years of hands-on experience in conducting surveys, polls, and other market research activities, as well as consolidating and analyzing cross-channel marketing data to extract actionable business insights.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research and customer analysis
• Monitor company’s brand awareness and customer sentiment
• Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders to showcase research findings, insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that research findings are integrated into operational and strategic initiatives
• Participate in marketing experimentation including both creative and audience testing
• Team with other analysts and professionals to leverage metrics and data insights to inform marketing planning and decision-making, and enhance and optimize marketing campaigns and media placement
• Participate in professional development programs as identified by management.
• Handle other tasks as needed.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, analytics or related fields is required
• Three years or more experience in market research and analytics in the P&C and Life insurance or related industries
• Proven experience in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, especially experience in developing survey questionnaires, and using comprehensive survey or customer feedback systems
• Strong project management and communication and presentation skills
• Team spirited and comfortable with public speaking
• Can approach issues proactively and prioritize and reprioritize in a dynamic work environment
• Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical background
• Experience working with large datasets and data analysis tools. Proficiency in Excel, Access, Power BI and Tableau are preferred
• Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Q, R, and other data and survey analytical tools is a plus
