About Applications Development at UPS Technology:
Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology. They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually). This team works closely with all of our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience. As a member of the applications development family, you will help UPS grow and provide valuable services across the globe.
About this role:
The Applications Development Manager leads the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. The person will be responsible for CRM initiatives for Evolve from IT side. He/She is involved in full systems life cycle management (i.e., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of systems and applications software) delivered on time and within budget. This position participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads AD project plans and integrations and collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies. He/She is responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and budget). This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for applications’ development, maintenance, and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM application (or Salesforce)
- Experience with SaaS product
- Experience on working with vendors
- Experience with Agile Development
- Knowledge of Business Acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accountability
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent in education and work experience.
