JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Parts Specialist
REPORTS TO: Parts Manager
WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Service Technicians and customer-counter sales
JOB SUMMARY: Perform a variety of customer service, merchandising, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):
- Sell products and/or services to repair the problem and meet customer needs
- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she comes in contact with.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks to maintain and enhance the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.
- Follow processes and procedures for handling all customer issues.
- Performs other tasks as directed by his/her supervisor.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 Years’ experience in agriculture parts business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to effectively listen.
- Ability to interpret customer and service technician needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extended periods of standing, climbing bending, must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly, extensive hours on a computer.
