Job Description The Learner Experience Manager is responsible for designing the strategy behind and approach to learning experiences that enable marketing and sales reps to achieve their desired learning outcomes in a human-centered and goal-oriented way. Working with internal teams, the Learner Experience Manager will understand and speak for the learners, partner to create learning objectives, and design a seamless learning interface that provides engaging and effective learning for global marketing and sales reps. The Learner Experience Manager will: Get to know the target audience through interviews, observations, and partnership with internal teams; understand the learner’s environment and pressures as they interact with the material; deeply understand the context of how they will use what they learn Create and draw on personas to design the experience and build out the content, anticipating learner questions, issues, and barriers to learning Partner with internal teams to set clear instructional end goals and collaborate to create content that matches goals Innovate learning with new technology solutions that leverage cutting-edge resources and transfer knowledge quickly to the modern learner Engage in research, experimentation, ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, iteration, and testing, as needed; go beyond existing training options and create completely new ways to help learners reach their goals Act as an internal consultant to combine multiple teams’ perspectives into holistic solutions that maximize the impact to the business; work very closely with internal experts (creative, video, instructional designers, etc.) who will develop your designs Partner with internal teams to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content, visually appealing presentations, online learning media, videos, simulations, role plays, games, etc. Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design; ensure intuitive navigation through the learning interface Measure training program effectiveness and assess results to identify and implement methods for improvement Keep informed of changes within the learning design field by participating in educational opportunities and learning new development tools and programs Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or 7 years of relevant experience with a focus on interaction design, user experience design, graphic design, game design, instructional design, cognitive psychology, experiential learning Experience with best practices for interactive learning in a variety of delivery methods Familiarity using education technology including learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms and content authoring tools (Articulate Suite, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) Experience designing intuitive and creative learning programs involving multiple learning objects or performance support tools or sales programs Experience developing global training with an emphasis on innovative learning and performance support Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and collaborate to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles Experience working in an agency environment is a plus Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required 160/90 is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
