BrightStar Care, the nation’s leading home care and medical staffing franchisor, is growing! We are looking for a dynamic Recruiter who will assist with filling Caregiver roles.
This is a high-volume recruiting role that primarily focuses on recruiting Caregivers but you may also recruit for other positions as needed. We take a proactive approach to recruiting with a focus on best practices and process improvement. You will have the opportunity to help us grow and shape our future processes and practices.
This position is in-office 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Our office is currently located at 1125 Tri State Parkway, Suite 700, Gurnee IL 60031. We do anticipate moving to the Grayslake/Libertyville area in the spring of 2024.
Primary Responsibilities:

Full cycle recruiting:
- Source and screen candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate onsite and virtual interviews for candidates and hiring managers.
- Effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
- Extend and negotiate offers, create and send offer letters.
- Launch onboarding and ensure proper set-up in ADP.
- Ensure accurate tracking of open positions and candidates in process.
- Grow and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Conduct new hire training weekly.
- Attend career fairs, college recruiting events, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Two years of HR/Recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume health care setting. Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with hiring managers and HR partners.
- Solid understanding of employment law.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
