Summary/Objective
The Operations Qualifications (OQ) Instructor is responsible for effectively communicating written, electronic, and hands-on material for a variety of tasks related to oil and gas construction and operation. Instructors should be qualified in at least one of the following accredited OQ instruction platforms: NCCER, Veriforce, EWN.
Essential Functions

· Provides safety- and compliance-related classroom training
· Provides safety- and compliance-related hands-on training and assessment
· Documents training completion for students upon successful completion of each course
· Updates NCCER, Veriforce, and EWN information for each student upon successful course completion
· Develops course curriculum to meet training objectives
· Perform additional duties as requested by Management.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including copy machines, TVs, video projectors, and printers. Hands-on training has the potential to be performed in a warehouse or factory setting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a contract position. The employees daily schedule may vary based on need. Overtime may occasionally be required.
Travel
This position could require travel, up to 50%.
Required Education and Experience
· HS Diploma
· Moderate level of computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat/PDFs – ability to edit and create, scanning)
· Familiarity with NCCER, Veriforce, or EWN training requirements
· Instructor certification in NCCER, Veriforce, or EWN platforms
· Three years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
Preferred Education and Experience
· Five years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
· Three years’ experience as a safety trainer, safety manager or other safety-related role
· Ability to teach other safety-related courses such as OSHA 10, HAZWOPER, CPR, etc.
