JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Lead
Employment Status: Full-time
FLSA Status: Salaried (Exempt)
Location: This position will report to our Corporate Office in North Buckhead, Atlanta.
In-office/ Remote: This is an in-office position, with the potential for hybrid based on performance guidelines. Many of our corporate staff work 3-4 days in-office.  
Schedule: This position works a standard Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM schedule with deviations as needed based on company needs.
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $50,000- $80,000 per year based on education and experience. 
 
POSITION SUMMARY
At 2MNEXT, we're seeking a dynamic, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about marketing, writing, and relationship building. The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting 2MNEXT’s marketing, proposal efforts, and business development strategies.
 
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic, and highly organized, with a natural ability to work well in a team and independently. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth and to develop professionally in a dynamic and performance-driven environment.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
 
Marketing
  • Design and execute a diverse range of marketing materials, including visually appealing event collateral, informative brochures, professional presentation decks, and eye-catching promotional items. Ensure these materials effectively communicate the brand's message and are aligned with the company's marketing strategy.
  • Diligently maintain and regularly update critical marketing resources such as employee resumes, project cut sheets, and comprehensive company qualification profiles, ensuring they reflect the most current and relevant information for project pursuits.
 
Social Media
  • Spearhead the development and coordination of proposals, ensuring they are strategically aligned with client requirements and company goals.
  • Creatively develop and oversee comprehensive content calendars, planning and scheduling a mix of compelling and relevant content that resonates with our audience.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and technical leaders to craft and share insightful content that showcases 2MNEXT’s projects, services, and technical expertise in an engaging and informative manner.
 
Proposal Support  
  • Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
  • Maintain and regularly update a repository of proposal templates and documentation, streamlining the proposal creation process and ensuring consistency and quality in all submissions.
  • Manage a systematic proposal set-up and record-keeping process, ensuring all proposals are tracked, recorded, and easily accessible for future reference.
 
Business Development
  • Actively drive the planning and execution of industry-related marketing events, such as conferences, seminars, and networking sessions, ensuring they effectively promote the company's brand and services.
  • Represent 2MNEXT at industry events and networking gatherings, serving as a professional and engaging ambassador for the company.
  • Assist Project Managers with the administration of the CRM system, providing crucial support in tracking project opportunities, deadlines, and client interactions
 
Miscellaneous
  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of employee appreciation events, fostering a positive company culture and demonstrating appreciation for team contributions.
  • Work in tandem with the HR team to administer and enhance employee recognition programs, including celebrating milestones like birthdays, work anniversaries, and welcoming new team members.
  • Represent 2MNEXT at career fairs, effectively communicating the company's values, opportunities, and vision to potential candidates.
  • Oversee and meticulously manage the company's event calendar, ensuring all internal and external events are well-coordinated and effectively communicated across the organization.
 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field.
  • Strong competency in using social media for brand promotion and engagement, with an ability to create and curate compelling content.
  • Proficiency in marketing-related software and tools, including CRM systems and content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • More than 3 years of experience in a marketing role within a similar industry, preferably with experience in proposal development and business development activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing corporate events and industry-related conferences.
  • Familiarity with the engineering, construction, or related technical sectors is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in market research and trend analysis.
  • Certifications in marketing, digital marketing, or related fields.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The majority of the duties of this position involve sitting at a stationary workstation and working on a computer and phone. Candidates must have the ability to travel to states across the southeast occasionally to participate in events and engagement activities.
