This role is a vital part of the success of our new and tenured in home Design Consultants (DCs), and therefore integral to the overall success of our company. This position reports directly to the District Sales Manager (DSMs), and is ideal for someone that wants to use their window covering experience to help others succeed in this dynamic business!

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
- Offer support to new DC's on ride-alongs 5 days a week during their first month of selling in-home to help reinforce training, and instill good habits that will lead to their success, such as: effective time management, follow up and follow through, appropriate use of resources and processes, etc., and support their continued development by introducing information not covered in training.
- Provide ongoing development by riding along with DCs throughout the span of their career
- Provide timely, specific and actionable feedback/coaching to the DC regarding areas of opportunity from observations on appointments, and keep routinely keep DSM apprized of DC progress.
- Verify accuracy of window measurements while on ride-alongs.
- Assist with review of client orders to identify potential errors.
- Improve accuracy by understanding causes of errors and subsequently coaching individual DCs and providing best practices in team meetings.
- Present product related updates in team meetings as required by Training Department
- Coordinate ride-alongs for new hires during training with seasoned DCs and Installers

REQUIRED
- Must have window covering experience
- High school degree or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based platforms such as Word and Outlook
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Ability to travel overnight to support DCs in other markets if need be, or to accommodate supporting DCs within own market but reside too far to accommodate commute back and forth each day. Approved travel related expenses are paid for by the company, and we offer a per diem when overnight stay is required.
- Can lift & carry up to 35 pounds
PREFERRED
- 2 year college degree is preferred in a related discipline
- 2 years of facilitative training/coaching experience
- 3-5 years of retail or in home sales support experience
