The Opportunity Marvell is looking for a passionate marketing operations leader to support organizational excellence by reinforcing strategy with metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, budgeting, and reporting. The Director, Marketing Operations will develop actionable market, strategic and operational insights that will shape and accelerate business growth and ensure the marketing team functions seamlessly and efficiently as we continue to scale. The ideal candidate is a specialist in cross-functional leadership, highly strategic, a driven problem solver, and can manage projects to completion, while navigating opposing demands and priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to have an immediate impact on the Marketing team’s productivity by streamlining critical initiatives and communicating objectives between departments across the company. Job Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities Measurement and Analytics: Develop and operate reporting dashboards to provide real-time, actionable insights into marketing programs and campaigns Establishment and tracking of KPIs and metrics for all marketing investments to provide visibility into the effectiveness, efficiency and attribution associated with marketing efforts, and enabling greater return on investment Partner with Digital Marketing to curate and manage a centralized view of digital journey performance metrics (Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Adobe Analytics) Organizational Efficiency and Project Management: Define and implement systems and governance to support the smooth operation of the Marketing function with efficient and repeatable processes Improve interlocks with key partners and clients across the business. Align with cross-functional partners and ensure coordination of programs and expectations. Track key projects and milestones. Ensure successful completion of actions from large transformation initiatives Support Marvell’s Global Marketing efforts, with overall project management across the organization, including strategic initiatives, integrated campaigns, product launches, quarterly business reviews and other high-visibility programs Help to connect business strategy to team goals, develop plan presentations, drive coordination meetings, maintain project roadmap, and goal trackers Partner with Marketing senior leadership team on budget. Includes building spend outlook, ensuring that spend milestones are met, opening new purchase requests, tracking POs, and building incremental funding proposals where needed. Suggest new tools and format to streamline our processes Drive shared Marketing vendor management efforts, inclusive of vendor selection, approvals, and contract management, ensuring robust controls are in place in alignment with Marvell policies and acting as the bridge to procurement and legal Lead internal communications-focused engagement planning and initiatives Improve Marketing Operations efficiency and effectiveness by collecting stakeholder and partner feedback, prioritizing recommendations, and supporting optimization efforts. Analyze team performance/workload/commitments to inform our operations models and resourcing needs. Suggest methods to save time and improve output Build a strong team culture through management of team education, skill building, and social events Requirements: Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in technology marketing and program management 10 years in either a consulting, strategy/operations, project management, or marketing strategy role Proven expertise in building marketing reporting dashboards and delivering actionable analytics Experience working with digital marketing operations/analytics Experience in team management, particularly with building and developing a new team in a fast-growing organization Organizational leader with a track record of setting and executing against project plans, including financial targets Financial acumen - experience as an accountable leader with budget ownership and, proven ability to deliver efficiencies wherever possible Experience analyzing complex challenges, creating solutions, obtaining buy-in, and executing end-to-end.
