Patient Service Coordinator
As a Patient Service Coordinator, you assist and support the needs of the patients, team members and doctors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office
- Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office
- File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage
- Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
- Perform various office duties as assigned by the Office Manager
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced patient-centric environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
Work setting:
- In-person
- Private practice
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental office: 1 year (Preferred)
