We’re looking for a Screen Printing Assistant to play a key role in our shop. This is an opportunistic role to join a growing company and make a big impact. If you have experience in screen printing on a manual and/or automatic press, pre and post production tasks, ink mixing, screen burning, and are a self-starter, teachable, and eager to learn from a screen printing expert - this is the role for you.

Location:

• 33 Ink

• 1611 N Interstate 35E Suite 318, Carrollton, TX 75006

Type:

• Full-time, hourly

• 40 hours, weekly

• Work shift: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Screen printing production - 2 years (strongly preferred)

• Screen printing pre and post production tasks - 1 year (preferred)

The Screen Printing Assistant is responsible for assisting and coordinating with the Lead Printer/Production Manager on necessary print jobs and pre and post production tasks in a high-touch, quality-obsessed shop atmosphere. In addition, the Production Assistant provides feedback on systems and processes as needed, screen reclaim, staging and production.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating manual and automatic presses

• Pre and post production tasks in a high volume print shop

• Responsible for maintaining and reclaiming screens

• Post production parts washing and tear down

• Weekly shop maintenance and up-keep

• Assist with burning screens

• Perform maintenance on equipment to assure peak performance as needed

• Responsible for tagging and de-tagging shirts, heat transfers, and screen printing as needed

• Pre production registration, checking screens and garments, ink mixing, taping, approvals

• Responsible for working independently on assigned tasks as part of a healthy team

• Willingness to learn new processes

• Communicates openly with Production Manager

• Ensures that the work area is neat and clean to provide a professional and safe working environment

• Other duties not listed above to be required.

Minimum requirements:

• Experience with an automatic ROQ press a plus

• Experience with a heat press machine a plus

• Strong work ethic - honest and dependable

• Able to work in a fast paced environment

• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Must have high attention to detail and quality focused

• Ability to bend and lift approximately 50 pounds repeatedly

• Applicant must have reliable transportation and flexible working hours as needed

• Friendly and positive attitude that treats the company and fellow employees respectively
