Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on our job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, it does not reflect the maximum salary for the role over time. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills and experience demonstrated during the interview process.

What you will be doing:

A Test Engineer works with the Development team to ensure that client products are free from error at each step of development. The Test Engineer develops and runs a variety of testing measures to guarantee software fluidity and successful implementation of user requirements.   

A bit more about the role:

• Lead software testing efforts for new modules and enhancements to 360’s industry leading SaaS-based incentive management platform
• Create high level testing strategy and detailed test plans in order to ensure that the product meets user requirements and is free from defects
• Develop and execute functional and regression tests as a part of agile release cycle; contribute to product documentation, including test plans, training and support material
• Actively participate in building a high-performing development team, including building test automation, documentation, and identifying opportunities for continues development process improvement
• Work with Product Management and Development teams to understand requirements, estimate testing efforts, and deliver on production roadmap

• Keen eye for detail with a focus on quality
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and automated test scripts.
• Ability to understand requirements based on acceptance criteria.
• A passion to continually innovate and improve.
• Exploratory software testing experience
• Experience delivering consumer facing enterprise SaaS applications
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong desire to “break software”
• Aptitude for learning, professional development and enjoys being part of a team
• Software development background an asset
• Experience in a fast-moving, startup environment is an asset
• Relational database and SQL query development and testing experience 
• Previous experience of working with APIs using Postman
• Experience of bug/issue tracking such as Jira.
• Experience with test automation design and execution using automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress.io
• Experience with shifting left while testing in sprints.
