Job Summary
As a senior commissioning engineer, you will contribute by leading the effort to bring each AirSCWO system online. You will be part of a small, but growing, engineering team and will work directly with the operations team, fabrication team, equipment suppliers, and end-users. You will need to develop a thorough understanding of 374’s AirSCWO process and contribute to its continual improvement.
To be a successful candidate, you must have experience with the implementation and commissioning of industrial systems, preferably in the water or wastewater industry.
What You’ll Do
● Develop and implement commissioning procedures to ensure that equipment works to its specifications.
● Overseeing or performing I/O checks and functional testing.
● Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures and automation specifications.
● Working with the procurement team to purchase necessary and relevant equipment for commissioning.
● Create technical documentation, especially related to factory acceptance testing (FAT).
● Other engineering tasks as relevant including participating in design reviews, contributing to equipment datasheets, and communications with suppliers.
● Troubleshooting.
● Provide client support as needed.
● Ensure safe working conditions.
● Training maintenance and operations team as appropriate.
Who You Are
Qualifications and Experience
● 5 years’ experience as an electrical engineer or commissioning engineer or equivalent.
● Good knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation in process-heavy applications.
● Experienced in commissioning activities for industry-standard equipment including pumps, valves, instrumentation, heaters, etc.
● Significant knowledge of PLCs and process control hardware.
● Preferred experience in the wastewater industry and/or hydrothermal operations or other relevant engineering experience.
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines.
