About You
Reporting to 3Q’s Sr. Product Marketing Manager, the Marketing Research Analyst has a key role on the corporate marketing team working closely with different teams and functions across the business to lead the process and delivery of research projects. This includes primary, secondary, and custom qualitative and quantitative research studies, compelling stories, and actionable insights to share across the organization. As a crucial part of the product marketing team, you will work on a wide range of high-visibility projects supporting strategic direction, product development, marketing efforts, and customer experiences. You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Answering critical business questions and scoping, managing, analyzing, and communicating both quantitative and qualitative insights
- Working closely with different teams around the business to understand their insight gaps and needs from a customer perspective and lead in designing, organizing, and delivering a range of research projects
- Bringing insights to life and turning them into a meaningful story to share across the business, tailoring the message to fit different stakeholder needs
- Executing the day to day running and delivery of research tasks and projects
- Planning and executing quantitative studies: developing screeners, designing surveys, writing questionnaires, analyzing data, charting and finding the story in data, writing the report, delivering and presenting findings, etc.
- Running qualitative studies: designing an approach, creating and moderating task/discussion guides, generating key themes during analysis, and interpreting results
- Writing reports/debriefs and presenting findings to a variety of stakeholders, using your knowledge and intuition to define implications and proposed ‘next steps’
- Building and managing relationships with vendors, research partners, and tool providers
- Acting as a subject matter expert on historical survey and research content
- Championing improvements in efficiencies, such as documenting processes, creating templates, automating analysis and reporting, and proactively seeking out and recommending potential tools and providers
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 1-3 years’ proven experience in quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong digital literacy and highly proficient at using G Suite Docs, Sheets, Slides, and MS Excel
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Experience with the following data analysis techniques: basic statistical knowledge, including A/B testing, T-Test, Z-Test, etc.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
- Data-curious with an incredible attention to detail
- A creative thinker with the ability to ask meaningful questions, design ways to answer them, find the story within data, and unearth the actionable insights that solve business challenges
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple competing priorities, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver projects
- A strong curiosity about the world around us and what motivations drive consumer decisions
- A desire to be involved in a strong company culture that is highly collaborative and committed to propelling the business forward
- Working with or identifying trends over time in large data sets
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
