HR Generalist

Location USA, GA, Smyrna, United States of America Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions in Smyrna, GA is looking for a Human Resources Generalist Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist at our Smyrna, GA facility. Scope: The HR Generalist is responsible to collaborate, coordinate, and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities so that the organization attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees it needs to achieve current and future business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Support managers with effective techniques for attracting qualified candidates Assists with recruitment activities (posting ad, screening candidates, scheduling interviews) Update and maintain procedures and process flow in the Information Management System Support HR training, development, and competency efforts Support accuracy of the HRIS (Workday) Complete monthly/quarterly internal control and union dues reporting. Answer manager or employee questions on policy and procedure or route to appropriate personnel Handles vendor relationships with recruiting firms, temp-agencies, and local and state agencies Ensure locations are compliant in posting requirements Ensure onboarding duties and processes are completed Takes ownership for personal development and improvement of skills. Education / Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Three to five years of HR Professional experience.
