Pricing Analyst

After a period of in-person training and time working onsite with your team, this role has the option to work remotely (in WI only at this time). In general, this timeframe tends to be 3-4 months. Note that there will be situations when someone may choose or be asked to return onsite which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance.

As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll be responsible for suggesting marketing treatment of and setting the retail pricing for items that appear in a variety of US and Canadian marketing pieces as well as on the web.

Under the direction of the Pricing Analyst Manager, you’ll also be reviewing and assessing 4imprint’s pricing treatment to help meet strategic pricing goals. Additionally, you’ll be creating reports to be reviewed by the Pricing Analyst Manager.

Here’s what a typical day might look like. Other duties may be assigned.

• Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
• Work with, and independent of, the Pricing Analyst Manager to correct retail prices in line with our overall corporate objectives and in line with our brand promise to customers.
• Work closely with Marketing and Merchandising departments to facilitate the marketing and pricing processes for existing and proposed items.
• Review the competitive landscape on our products as needed and make recommendations based on findings.
• Prepare reports, assess performance, and recommend future pricing actions for products offered by 4imprint.
• Prepare reports and make recommendations to other members of the Marketing team.
• Implement recommendations as they relate to our pricing strategies, and maintain those adjustments, based on assessment of internal and external industry trends.
• Prioritize pricing tasks to ensure that printing/creative deadlines are met.
• Suggest pricing treatment for items appearing in marketing pieces and proof those materials to ensure pricing strategy and accuracy.
• Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.
• Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.

Required education/skills/experience:

• Minimum of Associates Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related degree. Applicants with equivalent directly relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Two plus years of experience with retail pricing methodologies and marketing (product pricing, promotion and positioning), preferred.
• Demonstrable understanding of margins, markup, product life cycle, elasticity, etc.
• Microsoft Office® and Excel® proficiency.
