Role and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process and overall contract administration of multiple on-going DoD/Aerospace solicitations and programs. Analyzes significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures. Utilizes strong working knowledge of USG/DoD regulations including specifically required knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS) and other agency regulations. Influences successful business outcomes in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income and free cash flow for new and continuing DoD programs. Provides business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance. Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives. Protects the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Establishes and maintains primary contractual interface with the customer. Maximizes cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance Qualifications and Education Requirements Proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Contract Administrator I: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of USG/DOD Contract administrator experience Preferred Skills Experience in problem solving through creative solutions drawing from prior experience is preferred. Excellent communications skills. Effectively communicate via formal letters complicated and sensitive subjects, possess proper email skills, and possess excellent verbal communication skills. Experience and be able to manage complex projects or processes. Experience leading a team/project in gathering comprehensive data from multiple disciplines and lead a team to address complex issues and concerns.
